Last year we made core technical enhancements to offer you a better navigation experience on our journal website, and we even began to introduce you to our new look. This year we start off fresh with an enhanced look and a few changes for Ciencias Marinas (CM). CM continues to be the peer-reviewed academic journal you already know, only better to keep up with trends in technology, publishing, and science. Here, we announce some of the things you should expect to see now and in the coming months:
-New year, new editor. We kindly welcome Miguel Angel Huerta, PhD, in our team as our new CM editor, and we express our deepest gratitude to Alejandro Cabello Pasini, PhD, for overseeing our CM contents over the past four years.
-Our editorial board has expanded. Feel free to peruse our list of associate editors and team members.
-We are taking action to join the green community! One of our new year’s resolutions is to make all the necessary adjustments in the following months to meet our goal of publishing only our CM electronic format by 2020.
-Coming soon are improvements to our journal guidelines. We care for our authors and our readers. Our goal is present more explicit guidelines to assist you, author, with your submissions and to continue to offer you, reader, first-class reading material.
-Also coming soon is our new journal cover. We are cooking up a new format for our cover, which you will see on our first issue. Wait for it!
-One more thing. CM is now on social media. Check us out on Facebook.
