Ciencias Marinas aims to advance understanding in the marine sciences by publishing high-quality, original research findings that cover all marine science disciplines and to foster scientific excellence through efficient and rigorous peer review while upholding the highest industry standards in its editorial and production processes. As a leading journal in Latin America, Ciencias Marinas aims to highlight and support multidisciplinary research from this region by publishing all content in English and Spanish through its open-access platform with minimal publishing costs for authors. Authors that publish in Ciencias Marinas are afforded the advantage of communicating their findings to a wider scientific community that is not limited by language barriers thanks to the journal’s commitment to ensuring articles are freely available in English and Spanish.
Scope
Ciencias Marinas is a bilingual, open-access, multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed journal of the Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC). The journal publishes original research articles, review articles, short notes, and letters on all topics of marine science.
