Ciencias Marinas is an international, peer-reviewed journal that publishes original research findings in all areas of marine science. As a bilingual Open Access journal, Ciencias Marinas publishes articles in English and Spanish under the CC BY 4.0 license. As of 2022, we publish articles on a rolling basis.

Ciencias Marinas invites photographers, researchers, students, and marine enthusiasts to participate in the call for photos to select the cover of Volume 53 (2027). We are looking for images that reflect the beauty, richness, diversity, and unique character of marine ecosystems and their organisms.
