Main Article Content
Abstract
According to wave data recorded by a two pressure sensors array during the months of April, August and October of 1985 at the spit of the estero de Punta Banda, B.C., the net longshore sediment transport was calculated. Results show a study area that has been exposed to the swells from the South in April and August, and to swells from the north with local waves in October. The transport values obtained are 384 and 10.56 m3 d–1 towards the estero mouth in April and August respectively, and a value of 110.4 m3 d–1to Punta Banda in October.
