Producción de metabolitos de Scenedesmus sp. y un consorcio microalgal cultivados en medios no convencionales

Resumen
Se comparó el crecimiento de un consorcio de microalgas y de Scenedesmus sp. cultivados en aguas residuales tratadas (ART) enriquecidas con 1 mL·L–1 de fertilizante Bayfolan Forte (MB), ART enriquecidas con (NH4)2HPO4 (MPA), ART enriquecidas con NH4HCO3 (MBCA), agua del grifo con aguas residuales porcinas (MEP), agua del grifo con digestato de aguas residuales porcinas (MDP) y aguas residuales sin tratar (AR). El contenido de nitrógeno (N) de los medios, excepto el medio AR, se ajustó a 80 mg·L–1 de N (NH4+-N y NO3–-N). Los medios no convencionales con menor contenido de nutrientes y costo (MB y AR) presentaron buenas producciones de biomas y lípidos. MEP fue el medio más ventajoso al presentar la mayor productividad de biomasa con el consorcio (191.25 ± 6.25 g·L–1·d–1) y una productividad de lípidos de 36.75 ± 9.90 mg·L–1·d–1. El perfil de ácidos grasos estuvo constituido principalmente de C16 y C18. MPA, MEP y MDP mostraron una mayor proporción de ácidos grasos saturados (60%–69%), mientras que la composición de los ácidos grasos insaturados osciló entre 31% y 38%. En MEP y MDP, la eliminación de NH4+ fue del 100%; sin embargo, hubo pérdidas de NH4+ debido al arrastre por aire (46%). Los medios no convencionales, específicamente las AR, son una opción para el cultivo de microalgas.
